Six killed including 18-month-old girl and 123 hurt as career criminal hurls grenades into Christmas shoppers in Belgian city of Liege

Six people died and 123 were injured when a rogue gunman lobbed grenades and shot into crowds of shoppers at a Christmas market in Liege, Belgium.
The shoppers, many of them children, ran screaming for safety in the panic as the gunman, named as career criminal Nordine Amrani, 33, opened fire.
The dead included an 18-month old girl who lost her fight for survival in hospital this evening. Other victims included a 15-year-old boy, a 17-year-old girl, a 20-year-old man and a 75-year-old woman were confirmed as the other victims.
Police said tonight that the killer was a convicted sex attacker and drug dealer, who had recently been released from prison.

Men, women and children fled down the streets of the city centre - some still carrying shopping bags - as ambulances and police descended on the area.
Reports said Amrani used an FN FAL automatic rifle, a Belgian made rifle capable of firing 700 rounds a minute, a pistol and threw three grenades in the attack.
In the initial chaos, reports said up to three men had taken part in the attack, but the Interior Ministry later confirmed only one was involved, adding the incident was not terrorism-related.
Amrani was on his way for police questioning when he attacked a crowd near a bus stop at Place Saint Lambert, a central shopping square which is the site of the city's Christmas market and its main courthouse. It was not clear whether he committed suicide or died accidentally.
Gaspard Grosjean, a journalist for local Liege newspaper La Meuse, ran over to the square just after the attack, shortly after 12.30pm.

'We saw people with bullet wounds in their shoulders, their hands,' he said, adding that he had seen one dead body.
'I see people completely scared, people are crying, everyone is on their phones.'
Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo expressed horror at the attack and travelled to the city. The  nation's King and Queen also arrived on the city this evening to visit survivors.
David Cameron passed on Britain’s sympathies tonight.
A Downing Street spokesman said: 'The Prime Minister called Belgian Prime Minister Di Rupo this evening to pass on his sympathy in the wake of the appalling attacks in Liege.
'He said that his thoughts and those of very many people in Britain were with all those involved.'
Interior Ministry official Peter Mertens said emergency medical teams were called in from as far away as the Netherlands.
The broadcaster Radio Television Belge Francophone said during the attack that all buses had been asked to leave the city centre and all shops in the area were closed, some with many customers stranded inside.
It said police helicopters were flying over the city and a medical post has been set up in the courtyard of the palace of the Prince Bishops (the court house) located on the site.

Police were on the scene quickly and sealed off the square. TV images showed blood splattered across the cobblestones.
Place Saint-Lambert is a busy crossroads. Every day 1,800 buses serve the square, which leads to downtown shopping streets.
The Place Saint-Lambert and the nearby Place du Marche host Liege's annual Christmas market which consists of 200 retail cabins and attracts some 1.5 million visitors a year.

'THIS GUY WAS WEAPONS MAD'

Nordine Amrani was a career criminal who was recently released from prison early for keeping an ‘arsenal’ of weapons in his cramped council flat, it emerged tonight.
The revelation will lead to critics of Belgium’s notoriously liberal criminal justice system questioning why he had been allowed back on the streets.
‘This guy was weapons-mad,’ said a police source. ‘He knew his weapons inside out, and was always tinkering with them at home.
‘He came straight out of prison, got hold of more guns and hand-grenades, and went on the rampage.’
Amrani was sentenced to just under five years in prison in September 2008 for keeping 10 complete firearms, and an astonishing 9500 gun parts in his flat, along with 2800 cannabis plants nearby.
Yet, just over three years later, he had been released and left unsupervised, allowing him to build up another arsenal.
Neighbours on Amrani’s estate in the suburb of Leige would often see him driving around in a white van – a vehicle which was found near the spot where he died.
The police source said Amrani’s rucksack was ‘full of grenades’, with many remaining unused after he pulled the pins out of just three.
The source said Amrani, who came from a North African immigrant background, also had convictions for drug dealing, handling stolen goods and sex abuse.
‘Amrani was well-known to us, but was never linked to any terrorist group,’ said the source.
Prosecutor Mrs Reynders said: ‘At no moment in any of the judicial proceedings against him was there any sign of him being mentally disturbed.’
She said that he had been wearing military combat fatigues today. Referring to a judicial enquiry which has been launched, Mrs Reynders added: ‘The inquiry will determine whether he acted deliberately or whether the equipment he was carrying caused his death.’

Fare-Dodger Train Tussle Is Internet Hit. DRM Ireland.

A video of a passenger tackling a Marxist AFA fare-dodger on board a train has become an internet hit.
More than 200,000 people have viewed the YouTube clip, which shows a young man arguing with a conductor and refusing to disembark despite not having a ticket.

A man then steps in to help and muscles the young man off the train, earning a round of applause from fellow passengers. The video clip introduction says it was filmed on the ScotRail Edinburgh to Perth service on December 9.
It starts with the conductor asking the youth to leave, telling him: "I can sit here all night, I'm getting paid for this, but these folk will start moaning. Not at me, at you. Why should they pay and you no?"
The young man swears and says he has paid but is told he only has a single ticket for the other direction.
A burly passenger then steps in and asks the conductor: "Do you want me to get him off for you?"
He is seen grabbing the young man by the shoulders and propelling him to the door and down on to the platform.
The youth apparently tries to get back on but the man bars the way. Fellow passengers applaud as he returns to his seat.
A ScotRail spokeswoman said: "While we welcome the public's support of our zero-tolerance stance on anti-social behaviour, our staff are trained in conflict management and we do not expect members of the public to take matters into their own hands.
"We are investigating the incident, which appears to show a person travelling without a valid ticket, refusing to pay for the journey, and swearing at a staff member in full view of customers."

Scully family leave home in wake of controversy

THE wife and children of former Naas Mayor Darren Scully have had to leave the family home and stay with relatives elsewhere in the country in the wake of the furore which erupted following his remarks on radio in the past week.
Meanwhile, a second complaint has been made to gardaí following Cllr Scully’s controversial comments. It is understood that a woman, who is resident in Co Kildare and is the mother of two children adopted from Africa, made the complaint following Cllr Scully’s controversial comments last Tuesday.
His initial comments had been made on another radio station during the previous evening and a storm of protest followed. Labour TD Aodhán O’Riordáin stated publicly that he had made a complaint to the gardaí under the Prohibition of Incitement to Hatred Act.
Cllr Scully has not been out in public locally in the days since his controversial comments and, in a weekend interview given to RTÉ’s Marian Finnucane, he admitted that he had not gone out the door of his home since the controversy broke.
He also stated that his future employment was now in doubt. Having been temporarily suspended from his job, Cllr Scully, who is an engineer by occupation, acknowledged that his livelihood was now “in jeopardy” and he would not find out until later this week “whether I still have a job”.
Although he has now apologised for his remarks stating that he would no longer represent “black African people” Cllr Scully has come in for some sharp criticism and it has even been claimed that death threats have been made in the wake of the comments, although this has not been confirmed by Cllr Scully or his family.
However, it is understood that Cllr Scully’s wife and two young children did leave the family home in Naas in the past week, to spend some time with relatives.
The controversy has also given rise to a heated online debate, with some contributors criticising the former Naas Mayor while others have used the opportunity to engage in clear racist abuse. One online critic suggested that the former mayor’s comments had constituted a “rallying cry” for racism. In his RTÉ interview, however, Cllr Scully stated categorically that he was “not a racist”.
Meanwhile, a representative of Fine Gael’s constituency office in Newbridge said yesterday (Monday) morning that Cllr Scully remained a member of the party and a member of both Naas Town and Kildare Co Councils. A spokesperson for the party’s national headquarters similarly noted that they were unaware of any change in the Naas councillor’s status. The matter is to be referred to a meeting of the Fine Gael national executive to take place on 14 December.
Meanwhile Fianna Fáil’s local representatives in Co Kildare have issued a statement criticising the comments made by Cllr Scully while at the same time appealing for “tolerance” to be shown to Cllr Scully in the wake of his apology. http://www.kildare-nationalist.ie/tabId/201/itemId/12806/Scully-family-leave-home-in-wake-of-controversy.aspx

Letter to the Home Secretary regarding Emma West

From: Dr Frank Ellis
To: Theresa May, Home Secretary
Re: The Arrest of Miss Emma West
Date: 2nd December 2011

Dear Home Secretary

I am writing to you to protest the outrageous arrest of Miss Emma West on a charge of allegedly racially abusing Poles and various non-white immigrants. I have to say that I found the video very distressing. It was yet another reminder of the kind of changes that immigrants have inflicted on England. To live in the south-east of England, to have to endure day in and day out the unwelcome presence of millions of non-white immigrants must eventually exact its toll on a member of the white indigenous population. Close and unavoidable contact with blacks is psychologically stressful, culturally repellent, disorientating and often very dangerous. There are no advantages whatsoever, just problems.

There comes a time when a person just cannot take any more. Every day on the BBC and the other monopoly stream media people are told that diversity is a wonderful gift; that immigrants enrich us and so on, ad nauseam. The reality is somewhat different. Immigration is destroying our country and in the process people like Emma West and millions of other white people are being racially, culturally and physically dispossessed and turned into a cowed minority in their own country. Emma West had enough: she speaks for millions of white people.

I cannot see anything in the video that would justify her being arrested. I conclude therefore that the arrest of Emma West was motivated by political expediency and maliciousness. The aim of her arrest was to cow other whites into silence so that they will not speak out against what is happening to England.

Jeremy Hardy (BBC) demands that people who voted for the BNP be executed; Cameron incites hatred and violence towards Nick Griffin MEP by publicly referring to him as ‘a ghastly piece of filth’ and Clarkson says that public sector workers should be executed in front of their families. Clarkson was only being ‘silly’. Is that what Cameron said? And what happens when a young mother speaks for England? You send the useless police, the same cowards who were too frightened to deal with black immigrant rioters in August, to arrest her. Meanwhile the immigrants keep swarming into England, pushing us aside, mocking us and living off the wealth of another nation. And if an Englishwoman protests in language that might be inappropriate in a university seminar (unless you are black and from the hood of course) but summarises the problem in brutally plain English, she is treated as if she is a monster.

Emma West has a son. Her son has been stolen from her. If he suffers any harm from paedophiles, perverts, blacks who hate whites, immigrant doctors who can just about walk and talk - not necessarily decent English - at the same time, you will be responsible. Emma West must be released immediately, reunited with her family and left in peace. Then you can give the order to expel the immigrants. I want my England, my Motherland back. Get on with it.

Groomed for sex at 12, stabbed to death at 17: Shocking life of white teenage mother murdered after Asian lover rejected her child

  • Laura Wilson, 17, identified as 'at risk' of sexual exploitation in 2005
  • Murdered days after bringing 'shame' on two Asian families by telling them she had sexual relationships
  • She had married Asian man's child aged 16

A teenage student stabbed to death and dumped in a canal was groomed for sexual exploitation by adults from the age of 12, it has been revealed.
Laura Wilson, 17, had been tracked by social services since 2005 after she was identified as being 'at risk' of sexual exploitation by British Pakistani men.
But their work focused on other girls who were more closely associated with abusers in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
Laura Wilson had a brief fling with near neighbour Hussain, 22, and gave birth to their daughter in June last year but he refused to accept the child was his, the court was told
Laura Wilson had a brief fling with near neighbour Ishaq Hussain, 22, and gave birth to their daughter in June last year
The white teenager was the victim of a cycle of sexual abuse and little was done to help her, Laura's family have claimed.
Rather than removing her from the situation, social services only carried out 'preventative' work to stop her falling into the clutches of abusers.
The student was murdered in October last year after bringing 'shame' on two Asian families.

She had a brief fling with married Ishaq Hussain, now 22, and became pregnant with his child while she was in a sexual relationship with Ashitaq Asghar.
Ashtiaq Asghar (pictured) admitted killing Laura Wilson in May this year and will be sentenced after the end of the trial of Hussain, who denies murder
Ashitaq Asghar (pictured) admitted killing Laura Wilson in May this year and will be sentenced later
A few days before she was murdered and dumped in the canal she had revealed to the two families that she had had affairs with both men.
After being informed of the relationship, Asghar's mother apparently hit Laura with a shoe. she said her son would never have a baby with a white girl and called Laura a 'dirty white b****', and she should 'keep her legs closed'.
The teenager had become pregnant just a month after she turned 16 and gave birth to Hussain's child in June last year.
Asghar pleaded guilty to murder in May, while yesterday a Sheffield Crown Court jury cleared 22-year-old Mr Hussain of Laura's murder after deliberating for nearly 11 hours.
Prosecutor Nicholas Campbell QC told the trial that Mr Hussain and Asghar mounted a 'mission to kill' Laura.

They adopted the language of the cult British film 'Four Lions', a dark comedy about Islamic terrorists plotting an attack which was filmed in Sheffield and which they had both seen.
Asghar sent a series of texts to Mr Hussain using language from the film.
Asghar talked about buying a 'shooter' for £400 and he boasted about bringing his 'hit list' out. In fact, said Mr Campbell, the murder weapon of choice turned out to be a knife.
In one message, Asghar said to Hussain the day before she died which read: 'I'm gonna send that kaffir (non-Muslim) b**** straight to hell'.
Mr Campbell QC described Laura as 'embracing life with gusto and she was an attractive and popular girl'.
Hussain told the jury he did not plot anything with Asghar and there was no plan to kill Laura.
Simon Csoka, representing Mr Hussain, said his client 'was an unfaithful philanderer whose attitude to women absolutely stinks...but although he's guilty of many things, he's not guilty of murder'.
The Rotherham Safeguarding Children Board have carried out an investigation into Laura's death and the findings will be published in around a month.
The teenager's body was found in this canal in Rotherham, Yorkshire. The tent pictured was put up by scenes of crime officers

Chairman Alan Hazell said more could have been done to help the teenager.
'Whilst not wishing to pre-empt that report, it is clear that Laura’s situation was very complex, which made it difficult for agencies to engage with her.

'However, there were times when agencies may have worked differently or more effectively.
'All agencies which had links with Laura have taken part in the review and have already shown a strong commitment to learn any lessons the case has highlighted.
'This commitment has already been reflected in the work done to improve services for children and young people in the borough following challenge from the Government.'
He added that the case had been both 'complex and tragic'.
'This was a despicable crime in which a vulnerable young woman was viciously attacked and left for dead,' he added.
'It has left a young child without a mother and we hope that the earlier conviction which has been secured will help her family and friends as they continue to come to terms with what happened.'
Laura's links with Risky Business - the town's child exploitation project - Risky Business, and the fact that the relevant authorities knew she was having under-age sex with Pakistani men did not come up in the murder trial and has never been publicly acknowledged, the Time reported.
Earlier this year an investigation by the same newspaper triggered an assessment of street grooming. The Times uncovered a pattern of child-sex offending involving Pakistani men and girls aged 12 to 16.

A teenager has been viciously stabbed to death as he tried to flee a gang of youths.
The victim, named locally as Danny O'Shea, was chased and had his throat slashed outside his mother's front door in Newham, east London last night.
Paramedics fought for 30 minutes to save the 18-year-old's life, but he was pronounced dead at the scene in front of horrified neighbours at 6.50pm.

Police have yet to establish whether the teen's mother was in at the time when her son was chased 300 yards before the attack outside the house.
Tributes have already started pouring in to a memorial group on Facebook, which has attracted over 500 people.
Friends of Danny O'Shea today said the 18-year-old 'wouldn't hurt a fly'.
Danny's family were said to be too 'devastated' to speak about his death.

However a friend, speaking outside the family home, said: 'Danny wouldn't hurt a fly, he was completely harmless. 'His family are devastated.'
A large patch of dried blood was still clearly visible opposite the groundfloor flat. A door of a neighbour's home had been taken off for forensic testing and replaced.

Piles of flowers covered the drive of the family home, with balloons, a single candle and pictures with tributes including one from his sister reading 'to my darling bro, we love you so much.
'Dan you're one in 1000's millions RIP. Angel forever, love Jessie, Georgie, James, Lauren, Isabella and Phoebe.'
A steady stream of family and friends visited the family home, many in tears and some carrying flowers.
The teen's grandfather, Michael O'Shea, told The Sunday Mirror: 'He was a wonderful lad. We're all in shock.'
A police spokesman said earlier that next of kin had been informed but formal identification had not yet taken place.

Real IRA are criminals says Martin Mc Guinness

People using guns and bombs to further their agenda are "living in cloud cuckoo land", Sinn Féin's Martin Mc Guinness has said - as arrests are made over Ronan Kerr's murder and dozens of Catholic homes and businesses are raided by the PSNI.
Mr Mc Guinness contends that those who make up the dissident groupings are traitors and are mainly people who were expelled from the provisional republican movement for criminality including sexual crimes against children.
About 200 PSNI officers and other staff were involved in a series of raids across counties Down, Derry and Antrim, as part of investigations into Constable Kerr's killing.
The 25-year-old died after an under-car bomb exploded outside his Omagh home at the start of April.
Three days later, munitions were seized from a house in Coalisland.
Now seven more properties have been searched - in areas including Coalisland, Toome, Bellaghy, and Ballyronan - and five men were arrested on Tuesday under the Terrorism Act.
The men - aged 22, 27, 33, 37 and 46 - are still being held for questioning at Antrim Serious Crime Suite, while forensic investigators are examining clothing, mobiles phones, computers and vehicles which were seized during the searches.
Speaking in the wake of the arrests, and of a pipe bomb attack in his home city, the Deputy First Minister spoke out against what he called "the disgraceful ongoing activities of those people that believe the use of guns and bombs brings solutions to problems".
He declared that such people were "living in cloud cuckoo land" and added: "The sooner these people go away and recognise, not only are they not making a contribution to making life better for our people, they're actually damaging it."
According to Mr McGuinness, dissident activity "is a threat, but shouldn't be overrated".
He said: "All of us involved in the political process know there are people out there in the echelons of the dissidents, who are opposed to and want to damage the peace process.
"We have to continue to support police in their investigations of any of those actions which taken the lives of any of our citizens - including those members of the police service."
Before Tuesday's operation, a total of 33 searches had already been carried out across Northern Ireland, the Republic and Scotland in connection with Constable Kerr's murder.
Three men and a woman were arrested and one was subsequently charged with offences linked to the Coalisland munitions find.
The officer in charge of the murder investigation, Detective Superintendent Raymond Murray, said: "Today's activities are the latest stage in the ongoing investigation into Ronan's murder and related incidents.
"Our determination to pursue every possible line of enquiry remains undiminished."
While he said that support and assistance from the community had been encouraging, he added: "During this search stage, we would ask for people's continued patience and co-operation as we work to complete our enquiries to maximum effect, as expeditiously as possible and with the minimum amount of disruption to community life."

Jew Bankers Goldman Sachs Europes Puppeters.

Goldman's European coup

vampire squid
The vampire squid that is Goldman Sachs is busily jamming its blood funnel into as many positions of power in Europe as it can. By Aidan Regan.
So, Berlusconi was eventually removed, like Papendreou, by external forces in the ECB alongside European technocrats and anonymous bankers. The money markets decided that Italy must pay a premium on its bonds for having Berlusconi as head of government. Within days he was gone. We don’t know the fine details of the communication between the ECB, international finance actors and domestic technocrats in Italy. But we do know that it was not millions of furious Italians that brought Berlusconi down. It was the political pressure of markets. Central to this nexus of political power is Goldman Sachs.
What do Mario Monti (new head of the Italian government), Lucas Papademos (new head of the Greek government), Mario Draghi (new head of the ECB) and Peter Sutherland (hugely influential in Irish public policy) have in common? They all worked for the American investment bank Goldman Sachs. This is not a coincidence: there is a subtle takeover taking place in Europe, oriented around elite networks of business plutocrats, in alliance with political technocrats, to ensure that the crisis is resolved without damaging the banking sector. Goldman Sachs is weaving a powerful network through a subtle form of quiet politics, under the guise of economic technical management. Draghi was Goldman Sachs vice chairman of the European division from 2002-2005, during the period they helped cover up dodgy accounting practices in the Greek treasury. Monti was a special adviser to European Goldman Sachs from 2005, using his influence to “open doors” to the corridors of European political power. Papademos worked as a trader for the investment bank, and as governor of the Greek central bank from 1994-2002, was centrally involved in covering up Greek debt with assistance from Goldman Sachs. Sutherland is a chairman of Goldman Sachs international, with direct access to the political executive of the Irish state, because of his close Fine Gael connections. He was hugely influential in the decision to bail out the banks – and to make the Irish state insolvent.
These are just four players in the European Goldman Sachs network. There are many more in high seats in the European civil service, finance ministries, and national central banks. The strategy of the US investment banks, according to French journalist Marc Roche, is to target EU commissioners and central bankers. This ensures direct access to information on interest rates, and undisclosed political decision-making. Discretion and quiet politics is the strategy. Goldman Sachs do not want their name mentioned anywhere. They are content with a subtle process of manufacturing collective consensus, behind closed doors, in alliance with other neutral ’economists’, to ensure the rules of the game are instituted in their favour.
It is an extraordinary network of power that connects Washington, Dublin, Brussels, Frankfurt, Rome and Athens. The Europen Goldman Sachs government has significantly more influence than national politicians, backbenchers, and of course, European citizens. They, like most financiers, have a contempt for any attempt at politicising macro-economic policies. This is why they want prime ministers replaced with technocrats, preferably from the central bank, to get on with the job of imposing structural adjustments in wage, fiscal and labour market policies. The Irish, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Greek governments (whether they realise it or not) are nothing more than debt collecting agents of international finance. Democracy has been suspended in the interest of the London/Frankfurt stock exchange.

Tomislav Sunić In Dublin

Dublin – Sunday November 6 saw the onset of yet another successful conference held by Studia Europae, in conjunction with FAÉ and Fóram Átha Cliath, following on a series of similar events held over the past year.
On this occasion the main speaker, another prominent international guest, was Dr. Tomislav Sunić of Croatia and the US. This was Dr. Sunić’s first time in Ireland and thus his first time to address an Irish audience.
For those who do not already know of Dr. Sunić and his work, he is an author, translator, former Croatian diplomat and a former US professor of political science. He currently also serves on the board of directors of the American Third Position Party (A3P). He has written numerous books, both in English and French, pertaining to politics, metapolitics and European identity. His most recent publication ‘Postmortem Report – Cultural Examinations from Postmodernity’ forwarded by Professor Kevin MacDonald brings together a collection of his essays of the past decade dealing with topics that include religion, cultural pessimism, race, liberalism, democracy, multiculturalism and communism.
The third edition of his book ‘Against Democracy and Equality – The European New Right’ has also recently hit the shelves. Published by Arktos Media, who also had a collection of their books on sale through Studia Europae, it was one of a number of cultural and metapolitical titles by various publishers available on the day of the event. Music and stickers could also be found at the table.
Alongside the Irish audience were other comrades from various European movements who came to show their support and solidarity.
The topic of Dr. Sunić’s lecture was “The Balkanisation of Europe and Ernst Jünger’s Anarch and the endtimes”. The turnout for the conference was greater than anticipated. Towards the end of the speech people put forward questions to Tom and shared their ideas openly. Many books were purchased during and after the event, both from Studia Europae and Dr. Sunić directly. Dr. Sunić then took the time to sign copies of his books and chat with those in attendence.
The second day, Dr. Sunić enjoyed the company of a smaller number of folks who again met in the centre of Dublin to discuss in greater detail ideas and tactics for future development of European Identity and Civilization.
Overall the conference was an absolute success and already there are plans in the works to have another prominent speaker invited over very soon. More details to come!
Fóram Átha Cliath would again like to thank all those who attended and extend our gratitude to Dr. Sunić for his visit.
Ní threabhadh tú pairc go brách á chasadh timpeall i do intinn! Onward!

JEW WORLD BANKER MAKES STUNNING CONFESSION

Stupid White Rich Bitch Taken To The Cleaners By Black Immigrant Scam Artist. (Serves her right, damn race traitor)

How could I have been so foolish? Widowed millionairess abandoned by Gambian husband of two years... and now he wants her fortune

  • Widow, 59, married young Gambian a year after meeting him on dating website
  • She trusted him as he had job in UK and never asked about her wealth

After the devastating loss of her husband, lonely millionairess Christine Ince thought she had found love again with a younger Gambian man.
Aware of the potential pitfalls, the 59-year-old widow spent a year getting to know Mustapha Jabbai, 36, before agreeing to marry him.
The mother of three believed his intentions were honourable because he had a permanent job in the UK and had never asked her about her wealth.

However, shortly after their second anniversary, Mr Jabbai walked out of her £850,000 five-bedroom detached home in the picturesque village of Tilbrook, near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire.
Hours later, Mrs Ince discovered their wedding certificate and other documents Mr Jabbai would need to stay in the UK were missing.

Worse was to follow. Mr Jabbai then filed for divorce and is demanding the millionairess pay him maintenance and a one-off separation payment and set him up with a pension.
In a witness statement for the divorce hearing, Mrs Ince claims the marriage was a ‘sham’ so ‘he could get an indefinite leave to remain visa’.

She goes on to accuse Mr Jabbai of bigamy and claims the woman he introduced to her as his sister is actually his Gambian wife Yama Jabbai.
Mrs Ince believes he walked out on her just after their two-year anniversary because he had spent long enough married to her to be granted the right to stay in Britain.
‘At the time, I believed he cared for me,’ she said in her statement.
‘I have been made ill by Mustapha’s betrayal of my trust, by his lies and deceit. I feel violated as if I have been raped.
‘It is distressing for me to have lived with someone and to find out I actually know nothing about them.

'He has used me and my commitment to him to gain entry into the UK and [obtain] the legal right to stay here.’
Mrs Ince, a former management accountant, married Bill Ince in 1977 in Chertsey, Surrey.
They went on to have three children – Elizabeth, now 31, Charlotte, 29, and Robert, 25.
Her husband, a joint-owner of a major tyre company, collapsed at their home in 2003 and died six weeks later, at the age of 63.
Mrs Ince went on to have breast cancer but has since recovered. After a tough three years, friends persuaded her to sign up to popular dating website Plenty of Fish.
She met Mr Jabbai, who was working for PC World in Reading, on the site and the pair enjoyed a series of dates.

Mrs Ince told the Daily Mail: ‘Mustapha was different to all the other men I had met through the dating site.
‘He didn’t try to get me into bed straight away and he didn’t ask me about how much money I had, which some men did.
'He wasn’t a stunning man by any means but he seemed kind and caring. I know there are guys around who see me as a target because of my wealth.
‘So I checked Mustapha out in lots of ways and with lots of questions. But he never faltered and was so plausible.’
After a year the couple  travelled to the city of Brikama in Gambia where they married in front of Mr Jabbai’s family and friends.
But when they returned to the UK, Mr Jabbai began to demand money from his new wife, she claims.

Mrs Ince says she travelled to the visa office in Croydon where she paid £1,000 for his permanent visa.
During their two-year marriage, she spent £30,000 on him which he has not repaid, she alleges.
‘After he walked out, I realised what had happened and I felt so foolish and gullible,’ she said.
‘But now I am angry because he is trying to get money from me through the divorce courts. It feels like I am on trial even though I’m the one that has been duped.’
Mr Jabbai left Mrs Ince’s home in March 2010, saying he was going to the dentist. He never returned.

The Mail has learned that two months before this, he won the right to permanently stay in the UK.
Mr Jabbai, who now lives in Coventry, has denied the accusations in a letter sent by his legal firm Hammon Solicitors to Mrs Ince.
When the Mail asked for a response from a man fitting his description at an address registered to Mr Jabbai, he claimed he was someone else.
The most recent statistics show that in 2008, 115 Gambians were granted citizenship after marrying UK nationals.
Immigration Minister Damian Green said last night: ‘We are considering requiring couples to complete a five-year probation to prove their marriage is genuine before they are eligible for settlement.
‘We will always seek to revoke the settlement rights of any foreign national who has used deception to obtain it.’

Muslim Parasites Want To Scrap Swiss Flag.

Immigrants Want Swiss Flag Without A Cross

soeren-kern-swiss-flag-debate.png
An immigrant group based in Bern has called for the emblematic white cross to be removed from the Swiss national flag because as a Christian symbol it “no longer corresponds to today’s multicultural Switzerland.” Ivica Petrusic, the vice president of Second@s Plus, a lobbying group that represents mostly Muslim second-generation foreigners in Switzerland (who colloquially are known as secondos) says the group will launch a nationwide campaign in October to ask Swiss citizens to consider adopting a flag that is less offensive to Muslim immigrants.
In a September 18 interview with the Swiss newspaper Aargauer Zeitung, Petrusic said the cross has a Christian background and while the Christian roots of Switzerland should be respected, “it is necessary to separate church and state” because “Switzerland today has a great religious and cultural diversity. One has to ask if the State wants to continue building up a symbol in which many people no longer believe.”

In the interview, Petrusic said Switzerland needs new symbols with which everyone, including non-Christians, can identify. As an alternative to the current Swiss flag (see image here), Petrusic proposed the former flag of the Helvetic Republic (see image here) which was officially introduced in 1799 and consisted of green, red and yellow colors. “Those colors are similar to the current flags of Bolivia and Ghana and would represent a more progressive and open-minded Switzerland,” Petrusic said.
The proposal to change the Swiss flag has been met with outrage across the political spectrum and is sure to fuel anti-immigrant sentiments in Switzerland.
Sylvia Flückiger a councillor with the conservative Swiss People’s Party (SVP) said the demands are: “Totally unacceptable. With our Swiss flag there is nothing to change. The next thing you know, they will demand even more, that we change our constitution.”
Marianne Binder, spokeswoman for the center-right Christian Democrats (CVP) said: “This is just what was missing, that we need to change our flag. The Swiss flag is part of Swiss identity, precisely because it is inviting for all to want to be involved…even the immigrants.”
Stefan Brupbacher, general secretary of the libertarian Free Democrats (FDP) said: “This is utter nonsense. The Swiss cross is an extremely successful and valuable global brand. It is a symbol of success and quality. We will tightly hold on to it, out of love for Switzerland.”
The issue of Muslim immigration to Switzerland has been a hotly debated topic in recent years and the flag controversy is sure to add fuel to the fire.
The Muslim population in Switzerland has more than quintupled since 1980, and now numbers about 400,000, or roughly 5% of the population. Most Muslims living in Switzerland are of Turkish or Balkan origin, with a smaller minority from the Arab world. Many of them are second- and third-generation immigrants who are now firmly establishing themselves in Switzerland.
The new Muslim demographic reality is raising tensions across large parts of Swiss society, especially as Muslims become more assertive in their demands for greater recognition of their Islamic faith.
The ensuing controversies are fuelling a debate over the role of Islam in Swiss society and how to reconcile Western values with a growing immigrant population determined to avoid assimilation.
Swiss courts have been jam-packed with Islam-related cases in recent years. In one case, Muslim parents won a lawsuit demanding that they be allowed to dress their children in full-body bathing suits dubbed ‘burkinis’ during co-ed swimming lessons. In another case, a group of Swiss supermarkets created a stir by banning Muslim employees from wearing headscarves.
In August 2009, the Swiss basketball association told a Muslim player she could not wear a headscarf during league games. In August 2010, five Muslim families in Basel were fined 350 Swiss Francs ($420) each for refusing to send their daughters to mixed-sex swimming lessons.
In September 2010, the secretary of the Muslim Community of Basel was acquitted of publicly inciting crime and violence. The charges were pressed after the 33-year-old made comments in a Swiss television documentary saying that Islamic Sharia law should be introduced in Switzerland and that unruly wives should be beaten. The judge said the defendant was protected by freedom of expression.
In November 2010, Swiss voters approved tough new regulations on the deportation of non-Swiss immigrants convicted of serious crimes. The measure calls for the automatic expulsion of non-Swiss offenders convicted of crimes ranging from murder to breaking and entry and social security fraud.
Also in November, Swiss Justice Minister Simonetta Sommaruga said the approval or extension of residency permits should be closely linked to the efforts immigrants make to integrate themselves. “Compulsory schooling must be respected. Children should attend all courses and exceptions made on religious or other grounds, for example in swimming classes, should no longer be possible,” Sommaruga said.
In December 2010, the Federal Commission on Women’s Issues called for Islamic burqas and niqabs to be banned in government offices and in public schools. The government-appointed committee said the move would prevent gender discrimination.
In January 2011, a 66-year-old Turkish woman living in Bern was sentenced to three years and six months in prison for encouraging the father and brothers of her daughter-in-law to carry out an “honor” crime against her for her “risqué lifestyle.”
In May 2011, voters in canton Ticino, in Switzerland’s Italian-speaking region, collected enough signatures to be able to launch a referendum that would ban burqas, niqabs and other Islamic head dresses. If the referendum goes ahead, it will be the first time in Switzerland that citizens have been asked to express an opinion on burqas.
Also in May, Swiss Defence Minister Ueli Maurer said increasing numbers of Swiss Muslims are training in Islamic militant camps in countries like Somalia and Yemen. In an interview with the SonntagsZeitung newspaper, Maurer also said that under current Swiss laws it is difficult to prevent Islamists from raising funds.
Meanwhile, an administrative court in Bern is expected to rule on the fate of a minaret in the town of Langenthal. Minarets are the tower-like structures on mosques from which Muslims are often called to prayer.
Muslims in Langenthal, a town with a population of about 15,000, had been given permission to build a minaret five months before a constitutional ban on minarets took effect in November 2009, but opponents of the project say the earlier approval is now null and void. The case is still working its way through the Swiss legal system.
In November 2009 Switzerland held a referendum in which citizens approved an initiative to ban the construction of minarets. The initiative was approved 57.5% to 42.5% by some 2.67 million voters. Only four of Switzerland’s 26 cantons or states opposed the initiative, thereby granting the double approval that now makes the minaret ban part of the Swiss constitution.
In July 2011, the European Court of Human Rights rejected two cases brought by Muslims against Switzerland’s constitutional ban on building minarets.
A seven-judge panel at the Strasbourg-based court said that it would not consider the cases as the plaintiffs failed to show how the ban harmed their human rights and they therefore “cannot claim to be ‘victims’ of a violation” of the European Convention on Human Rights, which the court enforces.
The minaret ban represented a turning point in the debate about Islam in Switzerland.
The initiative was sponsored by the conservative Swiss People’s Party (SVP), which says the minarets symbolize the growing self-confidence and intolerance of Switzerland’s Muslim community.
The SVP has described the minaret is a “symbol of a religious-political claim to power and dominance which threatens — in the name of alleged freedom of religion — the constitutional rights of others.”
The SVP has backed its claim by citing a remark by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has implied that the construction of mosques and minarets is part of a strategy to Islamisize Europe. The pro-Islamist Erdogan has bragged: “The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers.” Erdogan has also told Muslim immigrants in Europe that “assimilation is a crime against humanity.”
In recent years the number of mosques in Switzerland has mushroomed; there now are some 200 mosques and up to 1,000 prayer rooms dotted across the country. Critics fear the mosques are facilitating the establishment of a parallel Muslim society, one that is especially welcoming to Islamic fundamentalists.

Ricardo Duchesne: Progressives are running the universities. DRM Ireland.

Jan 3, 2011 – 5:23 PM ET
By Ricardo Duchesne.
The November 2010 issue of University Affairs — a monthly Canadian magazine — welcomed its readers with an eye-catching cover story entitled “Racism in the academy,” by Harriet Eisenkraft. In the article, Ms. Eisenkraft interviewed numerous academics from across the Canadian university landscape, all in support of the sweeping allegation that “many non-Caucasian scholars still feel excluded or denied opportunities” in our universities. After five decades of official multiculturalism and three decades of mandated employment equity, Peter Li, a professor of sociology at the University of Saskatchewan, for instance, says that racism is still “regularized and embedded in the social process” of Canadian academic hiring, promotion, governance, research, and in the curriculum.
The article states that every new report on systematic racism has had the unfortunate effect of producing a “backlash.” According to Audrey Kobayashi, a professor of geography at Queen’s University, one of the effects of this backlash “is to prevent progressive people from acting progressively” in the universities.
These are her words; I am not trying to be amusing. How can the most leftist institution in Canada be accused of curtailing the efforts of progressives to fight against racism?
In fact, it is the preponderance of progressives in the faculties of arts across Canada that sustains and encourages such outlandish claims as those contained in Ms. Eisenkraft’s article. In case we need to be reminded again, “studies in both [Canada and the United States] confirm that the humanities and social sciences are dominated by scholars with left-wing opinions and values” — as Christine Overall, cross-appointed with the department of philosophy and women’s studies at Queen’s, has acknowledged in an article, “Lefty Profs,” published two years ago in University Affairs.
It is well known that progressives have been able for decades now to exercise their control through domination of university hiring committees and the imposition of politically correct speech codes designed to exterminate dissent. Dr. Li is not an isolated figure fighting for racial justice. In fact, his employer, the University of Saskatchewan, officially calls itself a “progressive university” committed to “employment equity” for women and visible minorities.
Of the 15 full-time faculty members teaching in Dr. Li’s department, eight are females; and three of the males, together with Dr. Li, are visible minorities of Asian origin. What is more, most of these members have research interests that touch on race, ethnicity, multiculturalism and social inequality. Among the many colleges, programs, and departments housed at the university are “Discrimination and Harassment Prevention,” “Native Studies” and “Women’s and Gender Studies.”
A similar set of facts can be adduced for all the academics cited in Ms. Eisenkraft’s article. Jeffrey Reitz, who claims that white people tend to trivialize the experiences of minorities as unimportant, is director of ethnic and immigration studies at the University of Toronto, housed in a department in which the research and teaching areas are singularly left-oriented in character. Constance Backhouse, who wants universities to “take the lead” in dismantling the “mythology” that Canada is a “race-less” society, belongs to the faculty of law at the University of Ottawa, wherein the “Message from the Dean” states categorically and imperially that research and teaching are expected to be pursued “in a progressive atmosphere where issues of social justice are at the forefront of student and faculty concerns.”
This influence of progressives over our universities may explain why few of the specialists cited in Ms. Eisenkraft’s article offered any solid evidence to substantiate their claims. Working within an audience of true believers, they have grown accustomed to soft-ball questions and easy endorsements. Pretty much all the “evidence” cited is anecdotal, based on “feelings,” and in no way the foundation for making a “systemic racism” allegation. The one meagre fact offered is that “about 14% of faculty positions are held by visible minorities, whereas 24% of all PhD-holders in Canada are visible minorities.” It does not take statistical expertise to realize that this claim is devoid of any meaning unless one offers a system-wide, representative set of statistical indicators on all the positions held by all ethnic groups, on all the PhD-holders, on all the academic openings in the last few decades (rather than merely looking at the ethnicity of academics who were employed decades ago), on all the number of actual applicants for jobs, and on all the respective qualifications of the applicants.
Canadian universities have worked like a gold mine for progressives. Many of the professors cited in the article have multiple research grants, contracts with government departments, awards for research and teaching, are fellows of the Royal Academy and, in at least one case, is a member of the Order of Canada. I could go on for pages citing their academic honours. University Affairs might have done its readers a greater service publishing an article entitled “The Racism Industry in Academia.”
A longer version of this article first appeared on the web site of University Affairs. Dr. Duchesne is a professor of sociology at the University of New Brunswick, John campus.

Our New Partners to the South - Oh didn't you know?

You may well have missed it, it certainly was not announced with any great fanfare, but on the 1st of January 2010 the Euro-Mediterranean partnership came into effect. Formerly known as the Barcelona Accord and re-launched in 2008 as the Union for the Mediterranean. This Union includes the existing members of the EU together with 16 other countries, many of which are located quite a way South and East of the Mediterranean.

These include bastions of democracy such as Syria. Libya, the "occupied" Palestinian territory and Mauritania, a country which famously did not get round to abolishing slavery until 1981, and of course, our old friend Turkey with its 70 million Muslim citizens desperate to gain access to the West.

The Partnership sells itself as addressing issues such as:

* the "de-pollution" of the Mediterranean Sea;
* the establishment of maritime and land highways;
* civil protection initiatives to combat natural and man-made disasters;

However, it also talks of “business initiatives” and what it suspiciously terms “cultural exchange”, leaving one to wonder what degree of access to EU nations will be offered to our 16 new “partners”, and their large populations.

Another interesting aspect to the partnership is that it will feature a “rotating co-presidency” with one EU president and one president representing the Mediterranean partners. This means the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Albania, the "mad dog of Libya and, of course, Hamas will all get to play at president of an organisation we are part of, cool huh?

I am afraid that I find this all very suspicious. As we all know, our leaders have for some while been anxious to extend entry to the European Union well beyond the confines of the European continent, but have been restrained largely by the reluctance of their electorates. This partnership has come into effect almost in secrecy, certainly very few amongst the European electorate know anything about it, and one has to ask, why has it been kept so low key? http://eeas.europa.eu/euromed/index_en.htm
