Roshonara Choudhry, 21, stabbed Mr Timms during a constituency surgery in east London in May this year.
It can be revealed that Choudhry had compiled a list of other MPs who voted for the Iraq war.Student Choudhry told detectives she attacked Mr Timms as a "punishment" and "to get revenge for the people of Iraq", prosecutor William Boyce QC told the Old Bailey.
Choudhry was believed to have been acting alone after becoming self-radicalised by browsing jihadi websites. A source said: "She had researched the voting records of a number of MPs around the Iraq war."
